Who Is Arm Liposuction Suitable For?
Suitability is determined by a combination of fat distribution, skin quality, and overall health. The procedure tends to be appropriate for the following:
- Localised Diet-Resistant Fat: Upper arm and underarm fat that has not responded to consistent diet or training, particularly when the rest of the body is at a stable weight.
- Good Skin Tone and Elasticity: Skin that will retract reasonably over the new contour after fat is removed, without significant residual laxity.

Arm liposuction may not be the appropriate option in the following situations:

Arm Liposuction Procedure and Anaesthesia
Arm liposuction is performed as a day surgery, with same-day discharge after a short period of post-operative observation.
Anaesthesia Used: Local anaesthesia with IV sedation is the typical approach, with general anaesthesia used where clinically indicated.
Incision Site: A small 3–4mm incision is then placed in the inner arm or near the elbow crease, where it is less visible.
